Thanks to the funds raised through this event the Comité Tricolore will be able to continue its mission to help those in need. We have started three new programs, the details of which you will find below.
We were transported to Paris and its Bistrots in the presence of Mr. Laurent Bili our Ambassador and his wife as well as of Mrs Caroline Monvoisin, our Consule Générale.

24 famous Chefs and participating companies gave their time and support to the event, deploying their talents for the elaboration of an unforgettable dinner. It truly was a great night of culinary celebration!

Of course, wines and digestives enhanced the festive atmosphere of the evening.

Throughout the evening, guests were able to continue bidding on the online auction items as well as all the prizes of the silent auction.

Details of our new programs
We have started three new programs on top of the monthly support we give to individuals and families in extremely difficult situations:
- Emergency Accommodation
- Digital Support
- Solidarity Contact
Emergency Accommodation
Emergency accommodation will primarily be provided to patients and their companions coming from mainland France for treatment at the NIH.
Volunteers who have expressed a willingness to help will be contacted to clarify the terms of their support (length of stay, capacity, etc.).
Digital Support
Consistent with the goal of fostering connection and autonomy, we are working with the Consulate to implement support for the use of digital tools for our seniors, particularly through the development of digital identity and security.
Solidarity Contact
To establish a solidarity telephone contact, 3 to 4 times per year by phone only, for people aged 85 and over or their identified relatives, to:
- Check on them
- Assess their social situation and potential needs
- Offer them a warm, human connection
- Listen to their requests or concerns
If you would like to volunteer, you can email Frédéric Roche, head of our Solidarity Committee. We need as much help as we can get.
After a break in August, don’t miss the many events organized by our members in September. We will update the Agenda often so go to our Agenda for the latest information.
