Open to French and French-American associations or organizations of the Washington D.C. region sharing a common interest in French culture, in the strengthening of the relationship between France and the United States and in helping our community.

The Comité Tricolore (Tricolore Committee) is an apolitical, philanthropic nonprofit association 501 (c) (3), run by volunteers. It was founded in 1990 and incorporated in 1998.

Our mission:

We are a federation of organizations with ties to France dedicated to fostering exchanges among member entities and helping individuals in needs within the community.

• We organize Bastille Day, Le Déjeuner sur l’Herbe and other events,
• And we help our community with the proceeds from our events and donation campaigns.

Since its creation, the Comité has distributed over $500,000 to individuals or families in need, thanks to annual fund-raising events such as Bastille Day.
