Chef Gilles Epié, who has cooked for George Bush, Gerald Ford and Bill Clinton will be a Guest Chef at our Bastille Day event. Chef Epié was voted “Best Chef in America” by Food & Wine Magazine in 1996 and has been featured on multiple television shows. He currently creates unique menus and signature dishes for 5 themed restaurants at the 5-star Turtle Bay Resort in Oahu, Hawaii.
Also with us that evening, Chef Jean-Claude Plihon, a Maître Cuisinier de France and a member of the Academie Culinaire de France, who was celebrated as 2017 Hyatt Culinary Leader of the Year and 2019 Texas Chef Association’s Dallas Chef of the Year. Chef Jean-Claude Plihon oversees all culinary operations for the award-winning Blue Duck Tavern of the landmark Park Hyatt Washington, D.C.
