The Agenda
The Comité Tricolore is taking full advantage of the beautiful Fall season to organize in person and online events which respect the COVID 19 sanitary protocols.
Our "Bienvenue à Washington" gathering was proof that we can still meet in person in a safe, relaxed and fun environment.

Bienvenue à Washington
A beautiful day to welcome the French Citizens who joined us in Washington this weekend!
The Comité Tricolore was honored by the presence of Ambassador Philippe Etienne and his remarks of support.
Watch Ambassador Philippe Etienne’s speech on Sunday during the "Bienvenue à Washington" event, as he welcomes newly arrived French citizens and thanks the Washington DC associations for the support they provide to the French community.

Consul General François Penguilly and several members of his staff also joined the CT member associations in welcoming newly arrived French citizens.
Our new member, the Alsace Washington DC Association, animated the afternoon and was instrumental in giving the event a special flavor...literally...with Alsatian wine tasting, pretzels and bredeles (Alsatian Christmas cookies)...

“Bienvenue à Washington” was held at the Maison Française with all the Covid-19 protocol in place which still allowed everyone to enjoy themselves and have fun!

Honoring Victor Obadia
On October 27th, we will celebrate Victor’s life on the first anniversary of his passing. The Tribute to Victor will be a testimony to the richness of his life and many have asked to participate in the online event, from former ambassadors to his closest friends...a very moving proof of the legacy he left behind.
If anyone deserves a place in the sun, it is our friend Victor.

This event is by invitation only
