First on the List

Let’s be candid, we want to be first on your list when the season of giving comes around.

Why We Give and Why It Matters?

I’m sure you’ve felt the impact of rising costs in recent months. For those less fortunate, there is no safety net—every month, the support they receive stretches only so far, and the gap between their needs and resources grows ever wider.

Our mission is to help, but the resources we rely on are being stretched thinner. Your generosity helps close that gap, providing real, tangible relief.

Who are we helping?

We respect the privacy of those we support, and we understand that you want to know whom you’re helping. Though we protect their identities, we ask you to think of them as your neighbors—people whose challenges are real, whose dignity matters, and whose lives can be changed through your generosity.

Lending a Hand: Our New Volunteer Programs

You already know about the financial support we provide to those in need. But this year, we are excited to launch three new programs that go beyond monetary assistance and rely on volunteers like you. These initiatives are designed to provide direct, meaningful support where it’s needed most:

1. Temporary Housing Assistance – Helping individuals and families find safe, short-term accommodations during times of crisis.

2. Digital Support – Assisting community members with technology, from online applications to basic digital literacy, to help them access resources and opportunities.

3. Friendly Phone Calls to the Elderly – Offering companionship and connection to seniors who may feel isolated or lonely.

Through these programs, your time and skills can make a tangible difference, strengthen the bonds of our community and bring hope to those who need it most.
