Art Talk with Tosca Ruggieri: Gertrude Stein

Thursday 9 December 2021 from 18:30 to 19:30

Gertrude Stein’s presence in early 20th century Paris shaped a whole generation of artists, painters and authors. Larger than life, she is mainly remembered for her personality and patronage of the arts, more than for her huge contribution to modern literature.

Join us for an online lecture with French Art Historian Tosca Ruggieri who will examine various aspects of Gertrude Stein’s life and legacy while also exploring the close ties between American collectors and France.
