The Alliance Française of Washington in partnership with the Embassy of France in the US is inviting you to a talk with Latifa Ziaten from the Imad Association for Youth and Peace. We will start with a 50-minute documentary by Jarmila Buzkova about Mrs. Ziaten’s tragedy (her son was killed by a terrorist), her fight against extremism in France, and her efforts in promoting peace and the values of the French Republic such as the laïcité (secularism). After the screening you will have a chance to ask your questions during a 30-minute Q&A session.

The documentary will be shown in French with English subtitles. The Q&A will be in French.
