The DEFI Inter-Alliances is an online competition among members of the Alliance Française chapters around the world. Participants compete with each other to answer questions on French and Francophone cultures: art, gastronomy, history, music, sport, etc.

The competition consists of three rounds, all of which will take place online:

Our local round will take place on Friday, October 28 at 6:00 p.m. ET. AFDC participants will be asked to answer a 20-question quiz.
The 2 winners will represent AFDC during the national round (25 questions) which will be held on Saturday November 12 at 12pm ET. They will face the winners of other Alliances in the US.
The 2 national winners will participate in the international final round (30 questions) on Saturday November 26, 2022 (time to be confirmed). They will face participants from all over the world!
