Virtual Guided Tour of Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral

Wednesday 28 April 2021 from 19:00 to 20:00

Two years ago this month, a fire engulfed the most famous cathedral in the world. However, despite the challenges of visiting Notre Dame in person, our virtual guides give you the next best thing.

Explore one of the most revered cathedrals for centuries! Virtually travel to the center of Paris, France, as we take a special virtual tour of the Notre Dame Cathedral. Dating back to the year 1163 AD, Notre Dame was constructed by the order of Bishop Maurice de Sully of Paris. Over many centuries, the gothic cathedral has served as a testament to Parisian beauty as well as spiritual revitalization.

This tour will explore the history of Notre Dame from its earliest designs through the French Revolution, up to the 2019 fire and the upcoming restoration. We will visit the main hall, crypts, artwork, buttresses, and famous gargoyles.

Note All Zoom links to attend the tour will be sent 30 minutes before the event (to the email you register with).

EVENT START TIME IS BASED ON EASTERN STANDARD TIME (EST). BUT, POST RECORDINGS CAN BE SENT IF THE TIME IS INCONVENIENT.
