Virtual Guided and History Tour of Normandy

oin virtual guides to the white-chalk cliffs of Northern France is the site of World War II’s most defining day, Normandy!

Visit the beaches and follow the history of D Day – the Normandy Landing of June 6, 1944. Follow the allied route from England, through to the channel, to Normandy where the invasion and liberation of France from the German occupation began. We will experience the Omaha and Utah Beach, the American Military Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer, the Caen Memorial museum and more! We will hear poignant tales about the events of June 6, 1944 as well as the memorials that have taken place each year to honor those who served and lost their lives in the battle.

In addition, we will visit the site of another historic battle in the nearby city of Rouen, at the rocky island of Mont-Saint-Michel. It was at this abbey we will learn the story of Joan of Arc and her life and death at the Gothic Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Rouen in 1431.
