Walking tour of DC with Katie Kirkpatrick

Saturday 25 June 2022 from 15:00 to 17:00

Following two sold-out tours in December 2021, Katie Kirkpatrick is back to show you the French side of DC! It is no surprise that Washington, D.C. is one of the United States’ most European-looking cities. It was designed by a French architect and engineer, Pierre Charles L’Enfant. There are many more connections between DC and France, from the Revolutionary War hero General Marquis de Lafayette to the Du Pont dynasty and Beaux Arts architects. Join us on Saturday, June 25 for a walking tour of DC and learn a lot about its many connections to France.

This tour will be held in English and will last about two hours. Prepare to walk for about 2 miles. We will start in front of the Hotel Washington located at 515 15th St NW and finish on 2142 Wyoming Ave NW next to the AFDC building.
