About Us

Here are some of the programs we either set-up, organize or participated in:

The Solidarity Dinners

We organize dinners in restaurants almost every month.

These Solidarity Dinners help the restaurant scene in DC AND the community since the price of the ticket includes the price of the meal (carefully thought out for us) which will go entirely to the restaurant plus a donation of $25 per ticket to the CT which will go entirely to one of our beneficiaries and is tax deductible. We started this program during the Covid crisis and were immediately successful. We decided to go on with these dinners which help bring our community of friends of the Comité Tricolore together.

Give a hot meal to the less fortunate and back local restaurants. .

Started during the Covid-19 crisis, the French Embassy in partnership with the Comité Tricolore and Friendship Place, this program is ongoing program thanks to the help of some of the Comité Tricolore’s partners.

La Casa-Friendship Place is a building in Columbia Heights, DC that accommodates 40 men who have been previously homeless and who are very vulnerable in terms of their physical or psychological health.

In partnership with the French Embassy, the Comité Tricolore committed to provide one hot meal per week to the residents and support staff of La Casa, help the restaurants and chefs of our region who are partners of the Comité Tricolore by purchasing meals for the residents of La Casa and do so by promoting the French values of friendship and solidarity through good, healthy meals.
